Cecilia Montagut | Scriptwriter and Director
Cecilia Montagut was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since she was 12 years old, she knew that she wanted to be a filmmaker. At that time she took her first steps with a super 8 camera.
​
She studied film directing at the Experimental Art Center of Avellaneda and graduated in Psychology at the University of Buenos Aires. Before finishing her studies, she began to work in feature films, in the direction crew.
In the mid-nineties she moved to Madrid where she currently lives and continues her work as a production manager, assistant director and free-lance director.
Since her first short films she has explored the diffused borderline between heteronormativity and non-normative sexualities and also the way in which new technologies affect human relationships.
In her documentary films, she continues to show different aspects of the heteropatriarchy and how women seek strategies of dissidence.

All of her work is approached from the feminist perspective and her knowledge in psychology.
​
Since 2014 she has been a member of the association of artists EmPoderArte and specialises in the disciplines of photography and video art.

Doctor in Sociology from the UPV/EHU, she is also a Social Worker and Social Educator.
She is the author of the book "Relaciones amorosas de las mujeres encarceladas".
Raquel Osborne | Researcher
Doctor in Sociology from the University of New York, professor of Sociology and researcher at UNED.
Director of the Research Project "Memory and sexuality of women under Franco's regime".
