SINOPSYS
Andrea took a drug mule trip from Argentina. She was taken directly from Barcelona airport to prison.
Katia spent two years in Martutene prision in the Basque Country.
These stories, along with those of other former prisoners and researchers from Spain, Brazil and Argentine, make visible the reality of women behind bars and how gender inequality affects their lives in prision.
In these circumstances, lesbian desire becomes a form of resistance to the penitentiary institution.
